Assistant Project Manager - Apprentice
The Role:
Reporting to the Delivery Director and engaging on a day-to-day basis with various Project Managers within the team, the Assistant Project Manager will play a key role in the execution and delivery of Projects within the FEC Manchester portfolio. The postholder will have undertaken some foundational project management qualifications or worked in a project admin/coordinator role previously. This role comes with an enrolment onto a level 4 Project Management Apprenticeship via our training and apprenticeship provider.

Responsibilities:
The duties of the Assistant Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
* Providing Project Management services and support to the delivery of Projects across the portfolio.
* Liaise with stakeholders on any project-related queries.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery of services.
* Maintain accurate records for the project and delivery team.
* Support with raising purchase orders and costing exercises.
Personal Specifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following traits:
* Completion of foundation project management qualifications (APM, Prince2), or relevant previous work experience.
* Proficiency with the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
* Clear and confident communicator.
* High attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills and multitasking abilities.
