Overview
We are seeking a local dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health is maintained and improved. This position requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient education, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Duties
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
* Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
* Assist in the application of preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
* Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
* Proficient in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for creating dental models and treatment plans.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, enabling effective assessments and treatments.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnostics and treatment planning.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
* Ability to work well in a team environment while also demonstrating independence when required.
* Strong organisational skills to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.
