Visiting Lecturers in International Relations

The University of Wolverhampton Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences invites applicants to join a portfolio of visiting lecturers who will be available for part-time or short-term contracts. Once applicants are included on the visiting lecturer list they may be invited to teach on a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes or contribute to training and consultancy projects. Applications are welcome for any combination(s) of subject, level and mode of delivery.

We are currently seeking applicants with a strong background in International Relations who have experience of teaching international students and supervising post graduate dissertations. Our PG award runs across the year with intakes in September, January and May, so you will need to be flexible in your working patterns. You should also have subject expertise in at least one of the following areas of specialism:

2. South Asian and Indian politics
3. Sub-Saharan region
4. Foreign policy analysis
5. Quantitative and mixed methods of analysis

Visiting lecturers will be committed to higher education excellence and normally be qualified to at least master's level, or equivalent. Current or former lecturers should have experience of teaching and a teaching qualification. Visiting Lecturers need to be student focussed and be willing to support a diverse group of students.

Inclusion on the visiting lecturer list does not guarantee employment.
