A unique opportunity here for a qualified Senior Architect to join a multi-disciplinary company based in between Loughborough and Leicester, in North East Leicestershire. THE COMPANY: The company are disability property specialists, focusing on developing new build, bespoke residential property for clients with additional needs. The practice go the extra mile with their clients, providing top class service throughout the entire construction cycle, working closely with therapists, legal teams, estate agents, landlords and of course, the end client. The projects the practice work on generally range in the values of £500k-£2m, with each project being different and interesting in their own way. As an Architect joining this practice, you will be gaining experience in a unique sector that encompasses everything from Residential, Mixed Use, Healthcare and Commercial work wrapped up into one area. The Architectural team is currently made up of 6, headed up by a Principal Architect. The rest of the team is made up of 2 Architects and 3 Technologists, providing a well rounded team made up of experience Architectural professionals from both design and technical backgrounds. They are now seeking to appoint at least one, possibly two qualified Architects to the team. THE POSITION - SENIOR ARCHITECT: The position on offer is for a Senior Architect with at least 3-5 years of post qualification experience. The Senior Architect for this role should be personable and confident in a client facing role. A background in the Residential sector would be perfect, with the additional benefit of prior experience in the Extra Care or Care Home sectors. You will be seeing projects through from inception through to completion, while being a pivotal figure in the office for clients and 3rd party contacts. The practice use AutoCAD as their main software package, so the Senior Architect for this role will ideally have used AutoCAD for a significant period of time. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Fully qualified Architect with UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 & 3 level. ARB registered / RIBA chartered (desirable) Excellent client management skills Happy to lead a small team and run projects alone, reporting to the Principal Architect/DIrector. Fully proficient in AutoCAD Residential/Extra Care experience would be preferred. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
