Upholstery Technician – Employed or Self-Employed
(Realistic Earnings up to £55,000 per year)
Are you an experienced upholsterer who enjoys working on the road, solving problems on-site and getting well paid for it?
This role gives you two clear options:
* Employed Upholstery Technician: £35,000 base salary with realistic earnings of £45,000–£55,000+ through regular overtime.
* Self-Employed Upholstery Technician: £220 per day (negotiable) with fuel support on longer-distance work (circa £60,000 OTE based on a full schedule).
You’ll be working on commercial upholstery in a variety of hospitality and commercial venues – pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants and other hospitality sites – with a steady flow of work all year round.
The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
1. On-site repair and restoration of commercial upholstery and furniture in hospitality and contract environments.
2. Cutting, sewing, top-stitching, quilted work and button-back upholstery, using a mobile sewing setup where required.
3. Travelling independently to different venues; some projects will involve occasional overnight stays
