The Opportunity
An industry-leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship £120 million industrial shed development in Avonmouth. This is a high-profile, complex project expected to run over 3 years, offering a rare opportunity to oversee a major scheme from start to finish with the full backing of one of the UK’s top construction firms.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of site operations, delivery, programme, health & safety, stakeholder liaison, and commercial coordination. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and interface directly with client-side representatives, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of this fast-paced, large-scale industrial scheme.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of the project from enabling works to handover
*
Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and programme adherence
*
Develop and maintain the master programme and short-term lookaheads
*
Liaise closely with the commercial team to manage cost reporting and variations
*
Chair regular client and internal progress meetings
*
Ensure compliance with Tier 1 health and safety and sustainability standards
Requirements:
*
Proven track record delivering major industrial / logistics / distribution projects (£50M+)
*
Experience working for Tier 1 or large main contractors
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid
*
Degree or equivalent in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
