Project Manager – Engineering & Research Projects
WMG is seeking a Project Manager to deliver innovative research across a diverse portfolio of engineering and manufacturing projects. In this role you will lead projects, manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications, and provide high‑quality project management across multiple multidisciplinary initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution and delivery of innovation research projects.
* Coordinate with academics, industry partners and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Maintain project documentation, risk logs and status reports.
* Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration across the research and engineering teams.
* Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality and within budget and timeframes.
Qualifications
* Significant professional project management experience, ideally in engineering or manufacturing sectors.
* Relevant technical knowledge that supports project deliverables.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Experience of working in research or educational settings is desirable.
