## Transport PlannerApplyremote type: Onsitelocations: Bristol,United Kingdomtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR108404## **About the role:**## ## To contribute to the depot’s Service Delivery and Customer Experience.## To optimise both fleet and resource assets in delivering product to customer sites.## As an integral part of the team, you will ensure company compliance with all transport policies, legislation, and procedures. Identify operational issues, potential problems, and opportunities to improve the service and efficiency of transport operations.## You will be dealing with multi-drop deliveries & solving any issues on the road. Handle the dispatches, collections and returns## ## **Responsibilities:*** ## Reviewing the order screens and planning routes minimum of 3 days ahead* ## Sort Picking & Delivery notes for following day.* ## Pulling forward orders that could be released in advance of delivery day to improve vehicle utilisation.* ## Ensure the plan achieves the defined KPI parameters and respect health and safety of the team and environmental impact of the operation.* ## Dealing with Drivers within a transport office and any issues they may have* ## Ensuring safety standards are met by drivers and vehicles.* ## Work in partnership with wider operation team.* ## Monitoring and reacting to changes, queries, and customer feedback.* ## Supporting to implement new systems,* ## Arranging haulage and managing assigned haulers relevant to the operational site.* ## Build routes for IDN transfers and print IDN paperwork* ## Booking in deliveries with customers* ## Receiving depot deliveries (Goods in)* ## Raising PO’s.* ## Managing general and business emails via inboxes* ## Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to effective and efficient performance of the job and providing they are within the post holder’s skills and ability.## ## **Experience:*** ## Excellent time management, customer service, organisational and planning skills.* ## Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.* ## Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.* ## Strong IT skills and attention to detail.* ## Good geographical knowledge of the Southwest* ## Thrives in working within a fast-paced environment.* ## Ability to work on their own initiative and think quickly on their feet.* ## Good transport knowledge* ## Excellent customer skills* ## Attention to details.* ## Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to changing environment.## ## Health & Safety:* ## Comply with and promote all statutory and company safety policies and instigate work practices, which results in a safe and healthy workplace* ## Compliance* ## Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures* ## Qualifications**Full training will be given on all aspects of the role.**## ## ## Brenntag provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees of all backgrounds and identities to create a workplace where difference is valued because it forms a resilient and more innovative organization.
