Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist school catering for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This role will primarily support non-verbal pupils in EYFS and KS1, working within small class sizes to deliver high-quality, personalised learning.
About the Role
As a Primary SEND Teacher, you will:
1. Plan and deliver tailored, sensory-rich learning experiences for pupils with PMLD
2. Support children who are non-verbal, using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) strategies
3. Work with small class groups to provide highly individualised teaching
4. Promote independence, wellbeing, and communication skills in a nurturing environment

8. Has experience teaching pupils with PMLD or complex SEND

Requirements
12. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
13. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
14. References covering the last 2–5 years
