SIGNAGE ESTIMATOR
CENTRAL MIDLANDS (Hybrid working available)
Up to £40K depending on experience + Hybrid working (2 days from home post-probation) + 22 days holiday + bank holidays + Company pension scheme + Healthcare + Laptop provided
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Our client is a well-established, family-run signage and graphics business with over 25 years of industry experience, delivering nationwide solutions across design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance. They work with a wide range of sectors including retail, logistics, construction, and commercial clients, offering a full turnkey service from concept to completion.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Signage Estimator to join their team.
As a Signage Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and delivering high-quality signage solutions across a wide range of projects. You'll work closely with internal teams and occasionally liaise with clients to ensure accurate, competitive, and commercially viable quotations. This can be a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week following successful completion of probation.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of signage products including: Totems, Built-up letters, Pan signs, Fascias etc.
Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and client briefs
Liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive material and production costs
Supporting Account Management and Project Management teams with pricing and technical input
Assisting with value engineering to ensure cost-effective solutions
Providing a level of client-facing support, including handling queries and clarifications
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trendsRequirements
Proven experience in estimating within the signage industry
Strong knowledge of signage manufacturing processes, including: Welding & fabrication, Metalwork, LED / illuminated signage
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both internal and client-facing
Proficient in estimating systems and Microsoft Office
