Opportunity
As we continue to strengthen our customer-focused offering, we are looking to appoint an Aftercare Coordinator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring a positive experience for our clients and end users following project completion, supporting the smooth handover and aftercare process across our developments.
You’ll act as a central point of contact for aftercare queries, coordinating responses between clients, site teams, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
What you’ll be doing
* Provide efficient and effective co-ordination of the Aftercare function across the Group.
* Log and track defects on Aftercare software.
* Co-ordinate workload of existing Regional Aftercare Managers.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, end users and key subcontractors.
* Ensure Aftercare department fully implements and complies with company policies and procedures.
* Monitor and track defects periods for projects and assist in co-ordinating defects response at end of rectification periods.
* Ensure defects notifications are addressed within timescales specified in project contractual documentation.
* Inconjunction with Regional Aftercare Managers, Identify type and priority of defect to categorise response time.
About You
* Previous experience of co-ordinating Aftercare in a construction environment.
* Good understanding of construction and related terminology, able to deal with defects on a wide range of building types across various sectors.
* Knowledge of common defects and issues which arise on completed projects.
* Strong and effective communication skills.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Able to deal with and interpret technical documentation.
