Following a decade under its current ownership, Timeless Tube is entering a new phase, with a renewed focus on commercial performance and converting a growing pipeline of opportunities.
We are looking to appoint a Sales Coordinator who can operate with a high degree of ownership—someone who is commercially aware, detail-oriented, and confident working at the intersection of technical requirements and client expectations.
This is a role for someone who wants more than process. You will be closely involved in how opportunities are assessed, priced, and converted, working directly with the Managing Director on live enquiries and broader commercial decisions.
The Role
You will take ownership of inbound inquiries from initial contact through to quotation and conversion. Many of these will involve technically nuanced requirements, requiring you to interpret drawings, understand constraints, and coordinate internally to arrive at practical, commercially sound solutions.
Success in this role comes from balancing responsiveness with judgement, by learning which opportunities to prioritise, how to position value, and how to move projects forward efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of inbound inquiries from qualification through to quotation and follow-up
* Develop accurate, commercially sound quotations aligned with client requirements
* Act as a key point of contact for UK and international clients across engineering, architecture, design, and manufacturing sectors
* Work closely with the Managing Director on opportunity prioritisation and pricing approach
* Liaise with the Head of Operations to validate feasibility and specifications
* Source and coordinate supplier input where required
* Maintain a structured and visible sales pipeline through effective CRM use
* Work closely with the Marketing Manager to share client insights, project outcomes, and market trends, helping to inform messaging and drive new opportunities
* Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and long-term account development
Candidate Profile
We are interested in individuals who combine commercial instinct with technical awareness. You may come from a sales, internal sales, or estimating background within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
You will likely demonstrate:
* Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how to deliver value for both client and business
* The ability to interpret technical information and translate it into clear, practical proposals
* Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
* A structured, detail-driven approach to managing multiple opportunities
* A proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership rather than follow process
What This Role Offers
* Direct exposure to business strategy and decision-making
* A high level of autonomy and ownership over your work
* The opportunity to work on technically varied and often bespoke projects
* A growing business environment where contribution is visible and valued
* Competitive salary, performance bonus, and 31 days holiday
Context
This role is well-suited to someone who has outgrown a purely administrative sales position and is looking to step into a more commercially influential role within a specialist engineering business.
