Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our Leeds Primary Schools. Full-time and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply, term time only. This position will pay £89.38-£100 per day.\n\nWe are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable candidate that would be comfortable working with students with special educational needs.
This role requires a passion for welfare, education and development. Applicants with relevant experience such as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Sport Coach and Healthcare Assistant are encouraged to apply.\n\nQualifications and Experience:\n\nA minimum of a Level 2 Certificate in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 3 preferred).\nPrevious experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.\nBasic first aid certification is an advantage.\nA clear DBS check (or equivalent background check).\nResponsibilities within this role include:\n\nPlan and deliver small group tutoring or catch-up programmes\nPlan and deliver one-to-one tutoring or catch-up programmes\nAssist classroom teachers in their work, ensuring that SEN students participate in the lessons and make good progress\nUndertake break time and lunch time duties as directed\nMaintain good working relationships with colleagues, students and parents/carers to ensure a brilliant level of communication.\nIf you think this is the ideal role for you, please click ‘Apply’ and send your CV, or contact Cameron at the West Yorkshire Primary Branch.\n\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
