This role is suited to individuals experienced in interim finance and accountancy recruitment, with a focus on private equity-backed businesses and portfolio companies. Core Responsibilities – Interim Accountancy & Finance Recruitment for Private Equity
* Oversee the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for interim A&F roles within private equity-backed and high-growth businesses.
* Develop robust talent pools of finance professionals with proven track records in private equity, portfolio management, or transformation projects.
* Advise clients on market trends, candidate availability, and tailored recruitment solutions for time-critical assignments.
* Build and sustain trusting relationships with private equity firms, portfolio leadership, and key finance stakeholders.
* Drive business development activities, leveraging sector insight to identify and secure new interim recruitment projects.
Essential Experience – Interim Recruitment, Private Equity, and Accountancy & Finance
* Demonstrable experience in interim accountancy and finance recruitment, ideally supporting PE-backed or high-growth companies.
* Expertise in placing interim CFOs, FDs, FCs, or transformation specialists within private equity environments.
* Strong understanding of PE operating models, portfolio value creation, and the dynamics of interim leadership assignments.
* Exposure to both UK and DACH interim finance recruitment preferred but not essential.
* Track record in contract/temporary recruitment highly regarded.
Key Skills – Consulting, Advisory & Relationship Management in PE Recruitment
* Outstanding relationship management and consultative advisory skills with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in understanding and adapting to evolving client needs within fast-paced, multi-location environments (London, Birmingham, Berlin, Munich).
