We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic AD Operative to join our Renewable Energy team.
Requirements
* Support the day to day running of the CHP plant to achieve maximum efficiency
* Proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety
* Undertaking scheduled maintenance and repair of equipment
* Sampling and loading of feedstock
* Monitoring and responding to out of hours alarms on a rotational basis including on weekends
* Additional weekend cover required if the opposite shift is on Leave or sick
* Monitoring of plant control systems (SCADA)
* Completing daily checks, log books and records
* Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures
* Other duties as required by your line manager
Person Specification
* Practical and hands on, with mechanical/ electrical experience
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and takes excellent care of tools and equipment, ensuring longevity and optimal performance
* Ability to monitor, interpret, and act on performance data
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong IT skills
* Professional manner and effective communication skills
* Proactive and flexible team player who thrives in a dynamic, close-nit environment where adaptability and collaboration are key
* Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks
* Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of a multifunctional team
* Holds a current UK driving licence
* Able to work a 4 days on and 4 days off shift pattern
The successful candidate will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and attend call outs.
