Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across various types of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical problems.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.
* Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
* Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment proficiently.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
* A valid driving licence is required.
