Job Description
* Overseeing all financial aspects of the assigned construction project
* Monitoring and managing project costs and budgets
* Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures
* Negotiating and liaising with suppliers and contractors
* Preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with relevant construction regulations
* Collaborating with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
* Contributing to the development and implementation of organisational strategies within the property industry
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior QS should have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Proficiency in relevant QS software
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
* An in-depth understanding of construction, specifically roofing
* Proven experience managing budgets within the property industry
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work well in a team and lead when necessary
