Overview
Avalara is seeking an Audience Manager to plan and execute demand generation programs. You will understand prospects and their main needs, identifying business trends, developing messaging and go-to-market strategies, and partnering with channel owners on all elements of the demand mix. You will report into the Director of Prospect Marketing and work from the Brighton office for 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute campaign strategies for target products/audiences, integrating industry trends, personas, pain points, use cases, value proposition, differentiators, messaging, and competitive intelligence
* Develop compelling content and messaging that addresses business needs/challenges, in partnership with content, product marketing, sales and other teams
* Orchestrate data-driven buyer journeys for both paid and organic channels (i.e. web, email, content syndication, ABM, paid search, paid social, organic social, SEO, events, and direct mail) to generate pipeline
* Analyse reporting and generate insights on campaign and funnel metrics on a monthly basis
* Plan strategy and messaging for important industry events and webinars, in partnership with the event team
* Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to plan audience strategies
* Work with the sales and revenue operations teams to develop acquisition sequences and training
Qualifications
* 5+ years marketing experience, including experience in B2B demand marketing
* Proven experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Demonstrated experience using a data-driven approach to marketing with accountability for results
* Prior experience in demand generation or acquisition marketing
* Global experience
* Prior experience providing direct support to sales teams
* Experience with CRM automation tools (e.g. Salesforce.com), marketing automation platforms (e.g. Eloqua), and analytic tools (e.g. PowerBI)
