* Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:00
* Friday: 06:00-13:00

Adept Resourcing is supporting a long-established engineering manufacturer in Sheffield in the recruitment of a skilled Patternmaker. This role involves producing high-quality patterns in wood, resin and similar materials, used in complex casting and manufacturing processes. Working from technical drawings, you'll manufacture precision pattern equipment ranging from small components through to large, intricate assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacture precision pattern equipment from drawings, including full layout, sizing and construction.
2. Produce patterns using materials such as wood, plywood, resin and polystyrene.
3. Interpret engineering drawings accurately and set out measurements to required tolerances.
4. Operate a range of woodworking and patternmaking equipment, including:
* Band saws
* Planers
* Cross-cut saws
* Thicknessers
* Dimension saws
5. Work collaboratively within the Pattern Shop team to deliver high-quality output.
6. Maintain safe working practices, adhering to all relevant Health & Safety procedures.
