Join us as Head of Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Salford and be part of one of the UK’s fastest‑growing universities! We’re looking for an experienced academic and Diagnostic Radiographer to lead the development and operationalisation of a new, innovative curriculum and our ambitious placement reform agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the development of new areas of business, ensuring successful implementation and operational delivery of the new curriculum and placement reform.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to lead and deliver pedagogic innovation across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, ensuring academic excellence and future‑focused curriculum design.
* Contribute to academic leadership, quality assurance and strategic planning as part of the Directorate management team.
* Champion an inclusive academic community, using teaching approaches that encourage inclusivity, strengthen student partnership, enhance belonging and diversify the curriculum.
* Promote the development and delivery of innovative simulation and practice‑based learning opportunities through state‑of‑the‑art simulation suites and the new clinic building (to be completed Autumn 2026).
