Role: Group Brand Manager – York
Salary: £50K- £60k per annum DOE
Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with a leading company in the heart of York.
As Group Brand Manager, you will be the custodian of the brand across Europe being responsible for defining, articulating, and activating our brand strategy across both B2B and B2C audiences. You will strengthen our clients’ position as the trusted parent and endorser brand to our network of local clients, helping practices attract and retain both clients and talented veterinary professionals.
Historically focused on a B2B audience, the brand is evolving to also engage directly with B2C customers creating emotional connection, awareness, and preference that ultimately supports growth. This evolution will require creative brand articulation, clear architecture between the group and local practice brands, and inspiring activation across multiple touchpoints including digital, social, in-practice experience, PR, and corporate communication.
You will collaborate closely with the People Team, Operations, and country Marketing and Communication teams (with dotted-line reporting to you) to ensure brand consistency, engagement, and impact across markets.
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy
* Refine and define brand positioning and narrative for all audiences.
* Clarify the brand architecture and the relationship between the parent brand and local practice brands.
* Translate company purpose, values, and strategic pillars into a compelling and differentiated brand story across Europe.
Brand Deployment
* Develop and implement a group-level communication plan covering all key touchpoints and audiences, integrating activity and feedback from other functions.
* Own key group channels: corporate websites, group-level social media, and PR (including crisis communications).
* Partner with marketing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution of brand plans, tailored to local market needs and cultural nuances.
* Work with internal and external creative partners to bring the brand to life visually and emotionally, across all content and campaigns.
Brand Guardianship
* Establish and monitor key brand health KPIs (awareness, consideration, preference, reputation, NPS, etc.) across markets, using insights to inform strategy.
* Maintain strong awareness of European market trends, competitor activity, digital and channel developments, and consumer behaviour shifts.
* Act as the champion for brand consistency and integrity across all internal and external communications.
Experience:
* 5–10 years of progressive marketing and brand management experience, ideally across multi-market European environments.
* Proven track record in brand strategy, communications, and activation — across both corporate (B2B) and consumer (B2C) audiences.
* Strong understanding of consumer behavior, with the ability to translate insight into engaging and actionable communication.
* Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and influencing at senior levels.
* Experience in healthcare, veterinary, or service-based industries is a plus but not essential.
