ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Engine Parts Assistant aid in the day-to-day running of our busy Engine department. Supporting a range of exciting projects – both new and exciting, the Engine Parts Assistant will directly work alongside our Engine Parts Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of operations within the department.
The role and responsibilities include:
* Organisation of all engine components.
* Stock control/monitoring.
* Picking engine build kits for internal use.
* Complete existing works orders.
* Communicating with our Goods In/Out department for when engine parts arrive and depart.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
* A confident communicator, especially amongst colleagues, internal departments and external suppliers.
* Computer literate with strong MS Office skills and experience using stock control systems.
* A collaborative problem-solver who builds trust-based relationships with both colleagues and external suppliers.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar environment and a familiarity with stock control would be beneficial, but not essential.
