BGCI is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Community Liaison Officer to work within the new “Restore Kaya: Amplifying Indigenous Kaya Voices through Policy and Science towards creating a climate resilient community” project. This role will be based in the Kilifi County, where the project will be delivered, and will work closely with the BGCI Africa team (based in Nairobi) and the Education team (based in the UK). This role will act as the community liaison point for the project, working closely with local communities and indigenous groups to co-create climate change interventions for the local area, developing awareness raising activities for the project and supporting wider project activities and implementation. The candidate will also be self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Contract: Full time (two-years)
Salary: KES0.5m – KES0.6m pa dependent on level of experience within a broad range experience, required qualifications, training and performance.
Location: Based in Kilifi County, Kenya.
