Protection Adviser – Ferndown - £35,000 + Uncapped Commission
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Protection Adviser to join a growing and well-established financial services firm based in Ferndown.
This role is ideal for a protection specialist who wants to focus purely on protection advice within a supportive, high-growth office environment.
The Opportunity
You will be joining a busy and expanding office currently made up of:
1. 6 Mortgage Advisers
2. 1 Financial Adviser
3. 3 Administrators
The mortgage team generates minimal protection business, creating a strong opportunity for a dedicated adviser to take ownership of protection referrals and develop this area of the business.
Role Responsibilities
4. Provide advice on Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection and related products
5. Manage protection referrals and existing client opportunities
6. Deliver compliant, client-focused advice
7. Build strong relationships with clients and internal advisers
8. Contribute to the growth of the protection proposition within the office
Package
9. Basic salary: £35,000
10. 15% commission on all policies written (uncapped)
11. All business written on a non-indemnity basis, with commission paid on income received annually
12. Business plan target of 350 protection cases per year
13. Average commission of £1,000 per case
Candidate Requirements
14. Proven experience advising on protection products
15. Strong communication and client relationship skills
16. Self-motivated and able to work independently within a team environment
