The Role and Candidate
POP MART is seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Coordinator (IP & Licensing) to join our team. This rolewill support the IP & Licensing Manager in the day-to-day coordination of artist collaborations and brand partnership projects. This role involves assisting with internal communication, tracking timelines, preparing documents, and following up on basic tasks across different teams.
The ideal candidate is well-organized, time sensitive, detail-oriented and interested in how creative and brand projects are managed from start to finish. They should have a clear understanding of external partnership projects and be able to support smooth project execution in collaboration with various stakeholders. Previous experience in marketing, project support, or communication roles is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Support the IP & Licensing Manager in the timely coordination and execution of artist and brand partnership initiatives across EU markets, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with overall project timelines and objectives
* Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure smooth and timely execution of artist collaborations and brand partnership initiatives, proactively flagging potential delays and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues as they arise
* Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, IT, and legal to support the full lifecycle of partnership projects, from initial planning and technical requirements alignment to content delivery, approvals, and launch execution
* Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals, expectations, and updates are communicated clearly and consistently, acting as a reliable point of contact to facilitate alignment across departments and partners
* Stay informed on market trends, cultural movements, and brand collaboration developments to support relevant and forward-looking project planning
* Conduct desk research and gather initial background information to assist in the evaluation of potential artists, collaborators, or brand partners, helping assess strategic and creative fit with Pop Mart’s IP and values
* Assist in the drafting, review, and submission of partnership-related materials, such as non-disclosure agreements, pitch decks, and collaboration proposals, in coordination with legal and business teams
* Maintain well-organized project documentation and archives, including trackers, status reports, and presentation decks, ensuring easy access and transparency for team members and senior stakeholders
* Support the optimization of internal workflows and contribute to the efficient day-to-day management of partnership-related operations, helping standardize processes and improve coordination across ongoing initiatives
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, Fashion, Art or related filed
* Minimum 2 years of proven experience in marketing, licensing, brand partnership, or a related field
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English
* Strong interest in or understanding of current trends in art, design, lifestyle, and cross-brand collaborations
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organized and efficient workflows, including ownership of project files and trackers
* Thrive in a fast paced on-time deliverable environment
* Proactive and insightful analytical and problem-solving skills
* Must hold a valid work visa/residency in the UK for employment
Desirable but Not Essential
* Experience working with brands in the fashion, collectibles, or entertainment sectors
* Familiarity with the European artist community and key trends within the European toy and collectibles industry
* Additional European language skills (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish)
