Junior Social Producer (Video-First)

The Role

We’re looking for a culturally switched-on Junior Social Producer with strong video instincts.

You’ll create everything from reactive TikTok to highly polished, brand-level video edits. You understand the difference between crafted campaign content and lo‑fi native social — and you know when to use both.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who lives and breathes social platforms, thrives in fast‑paced environments, and wants to grow into a fully‑fledged Social Producer.


What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation & Editing

* Create reactive, platform‑native edits (TikTok, Reels, Shorts – 5–15 seconds)
* Edit polished social video assets (sizzles, cutdowns, branded edits)
* Reformat long‑form content into snackable social moments
* Add captions, graphics, subtitles and motion elements optimised for mobile
* Ensure all output meets brand and broadcast‑quality standards where required
* Help plan content aligned to platform best practice
* Support reactive content moments tied to pop culture, TV, film and gaming
* Monitor trends and suggest timely creative ideas

Production Support

* Assist on shoots (studio or on‑location)
* Source media assets and manage edit selects
* Help with content delivery across international markets


What We’re Looking For


Experience

* 1–3 years in a social, digital or content role
* Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro essential; After Effects a plus)
* Experience creating both polished campaign edits and quick‑turn social cuts
* Understanding of TikTok, Reels and Shorts pacing and storytelling
* Experience working across multiple social platforms


Creative Skills

* Can hook an audience in 2 seconds
* Understands fandom culture, pop culture and social humour
* Knows how to balance brand safety with cultural relevance
* Writes sharp, concise copy
* Obsessed with what makes content shareable


Personal Qualities

* Organised and detail‑oriented
* Thrives under tight deadlines
* Proactive and solution‑focused
* Calm under pressure
* Collaborative and communicative
* Genuinely excited about TV, entertainment, gaming and social culture


You Understand:

* The difference between:
* A premium YouTube cut
* A lo‑fi TikTok trend edit
* A meme‑native reactive post
* How algorithms reward watch time, completion rate and engagement
* When content should feel slick vs when it should feel native and scrappy
* That subtitles are not optional
* That the first 2 seconds matter more than the last 20

💡 Bonus If You Have:

* Motion graphics skills
* Experience in entertainment, TV, film or gaming brand
* 1+ years of experience
* Experience planning, creating and editing content for different social media platforms, and catering to their differing algorithms
* Able to create in a brand’s tone of voice, and understands how to portray a brand identity on social
* A demonstrable passion for and excellent knowledge of social media.
* An obsession with comedy, pop culture and a genuine love of TV.
* The ability to be smart, funny and eye‑catching in two sentences or less.
* A flare for originality and innovation.
* An understanding of how to engage and grow fandoms on social platforms.
* Maintains a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Can work to tight deadlines and thrives under pressure.
* Demonstrates great organisational skills and has the ability to prioritise.
* Shows initiative in bringing ideas to fruition – pro‑active, committed and able to work calmly under pressure
* Confident social media professional who understands the landscape, and is able to bring in fresh content ideas
* Organised with attention to detail
* A team player with a collaborative approach to working
* Strong communication skills – both in person and virtually – and good time management skills, with the ability to forward plan


Tasks include (but are not limited to):

* You’ll assist in the day‑to‑day creation and curation of content on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok accounts across the portfolio.
* Able to generate compelling, engaging and funny social media content and help to manage a fast‑paced and reactive schedule.
* Experience researching, producing, and editing video packages.
* Writing social copy in line with brand tone of voice.
* Reformatting content for social platforms.
* Provide production support on location and studio shoots.
* Obtain media assets for use within content creation.
* Monitoring social trends to share with the wider team and inspire content.
* Monitoring conversation and managing replies where appropriate across platforms.
* Present ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content development.
* Assisting with communication and delivery of content across international.
