About the Role It is an exciting time to join Lincolnshire Police. We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic trainer to support the development of new Police Constables and contribute to the ongoing professional development. In this role, you will help ensure our learners are confident, capable, and fully equipped with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to serve the public to the highest standards. You will also champion our force values, being open, courageous, fair, and inclusive, while upholding the principles of the Code of Ethics in everything you do. What You’ll Be Doing Designing, delivering, evaluating, and updating training from the Police Constable Entry Programme curriculum. Creating and facilitating learning activities that meet the standards of the College of Policing, NPCC, HMIC, and internal requirements. Monitoring learner progress and providing guidance, challenge, and support to help students demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours. Maintaining and developing your own subject expertise to ensure training remains current, innovative, and effective. Conducting assessments to ensure learners can perform safely and successfully as Police Officers. Supporting the wider Learning and Development Team with a range of internal and external learning interventions. Contributing to annual training planning, including scheduling and demand forecasting. Providing welfare support and guidance to learners where appropriate. Completing risk assessments for new and existing training programmes. Addressing inappropriate behaviours and handling sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
