Paramedic Prescriber Practitioner
Opportunity available for a Prescribing Paramedic to work within an Urgent Care Centre across the West Midlands.
The team operates within an Urgent Care Centre, with the role primarily responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Prescriber will work autonomously, managing clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, and well-man clinics. They will support the management team in reviewing clinical policies and procedures.
You will have access to clinical supervision and support from a designated individual within the organization. The role includes developing, implementing, and evaluating health promotion and wellbeing programs, creating treatment plans for acute and non-acute conditions, and supporting patients with chronic diseases. You will provide routine nursing care in accordance with clinical evidence, NICE guidelines, and NSF, and prescribe medications within your scope of practice and PGD. Reviewing medication effectiveness and supporting patient health are key responsibilities.
The hours for this role are both Part & Full Time.
The hourly rates are:
* Monday to Friday: £43
* Saturday/Sunday: £45
* Nights: £47
