Your role in the JoJo story… We’re looking for a Finance Manager who combines strong technical accounting expertise with confident people leadership. You’ll be responsible for the integrity of our financial reporting, the smooth running of management accounts and financial operations, and the preparation of statutory financial statements. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring our numbers are accurate, compliant, and meaningful for decision-making. A peek into your daily adventures Financial Reporting & Controls Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the general ledger, applying appropriate UK GAAP treatments and maintaining full balance-sheet integrity. Lead and continually improve financial systems, processes, and controls. Act as the finance lead for system and project changes, ensuring correct accounting treatment and compliance. Oversee year-end preparation and support the statutory audit process. Manage statutory reporting requirements, including ONS submissions. Management Reporting Oversee the full month-end process, ensuring reconciliations, journals, and cost coding are completed accurately and on time. Review key management reporting outputs, including budget packs and channel performance reports. Take a hands-on role in balance sheet reconciliations and variance investigation. Cash, Treasury & AP Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and contribute to longer-term cash planning with the Head of Finance. Supervise the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams, supporting operational performance and development. Support foreign currency planning and hedging activities. Authorise weekly supplier payment runs and manual payments, ensuring robust controls. Leadership & Collaboration Lead, coach, and develop the management accounts team. Promote continuous improvement across finance and act as a trusted partner across the business. Support ad-hoc projects as required. Skills that make you shine: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience. Strong technical grounding in audit, statutory reporting, and management accounts. Confident communicator able to partner with a wide range of stakeholders. Systems savvy with an eye for process improvement (experience with ERP/reporting tools beneficial). Proven leadership ability and a hands-on, adaptable working style. Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
