* Undertaking site inspections, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and resolving technical queries on site and in the office
* Supporting senior staff with project delivery across multiple RIBA / project stages (feasibility, design development, detail, on‑site execution)
* Liaising with clients, engineers, planning authorities and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
About You
You’ll be a self‑motivated, technically strong individual who enjoys working across a variety of project types and seeing them through to completion.
Requirements
* Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and good 3D modelling/presentation skills (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
* Proven UK experience as an Architectural Technician/Technologist (preferably 8+ years) working through several project stages
* Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and CDM regulations (Principal Designer role), plus experience preparing planning/building regulation submissions
* Confidence in undertaking site visits, liaising with contractors and resolving technical issues on the ground
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
* A qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or Building/Construction (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
* Membership or eligibility for a professional body (e.g., CIAT) is a plus
* Right to work in the UK
* A driving licence that is valid in the UK and a willingness to travel to sites in the UK
Why Join This Practice?
* Be part of a friendly, collaborative team where your voice is heard and your input valued
* From small‑scale projects to multi‑million pound developments, work on one‑of‑a‑kind equestrian and rural projects alongside commercial and bespoke residential work
* As part of a small practice you will get to enjoy real project ownership and variety
* Competitive salary and opportunities for continued professional growth
