As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that strengthen students’ understanding of programming, algorithms, and digital systems. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach key topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and computer systems across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Promote logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and digital creativity among students. Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support achievement. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Guide students in developing safe, ethical, and responsible digital practices. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, school staffs and parents to contribute to departmental goals and whole-school initiatives. What we need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools is desirable. Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or related fields. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
