Integration, Validation, Verification and Qualification Manager
As IVVQ Manager (Also known as a Testing and Acceptance Lead or Release/Test Lead), you will ensure the management of solution's IVVQ activities within constraints provided by the Project Manager, the Architect and the Project Design Authority.
The anticipated work area relates to a major border control contract with UK Government that relates to airports around the UK.
A week in the Life of a IVVQM - some of the core areas.....
1. Define the IVVQ strategy and key test plans for the delivered solution
2. Work Package (WP) Manager of the IVVQ WP in mobilisation, deployment and run mode.
3. Collaborate with Sub Systems IVM in order to validate and assess the global strategy
4. Collaborate with C ustomers (in accordance with PDA and SEM) for acceptance phases management. This is a key customer facing role.
5. Coordinate the project's IVVQ team, resources and activities, including internal and external resources.
6. In charge of both Environment Management and Release Management
7. Manage and follow IVVQ team workload throughout the contract
8. Review and assess the specifications and technical design documents of the products and solutions
9. S upervise the full deployment of the solution (including SW, HW, suppliers, 3rd parties)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
10. Strong knowledge of IVVQ methodologies, tools and processes
11. Project management basic knowledge: IVVQ activities estimation, schedule and time management, tracking tasks progress, risks and actions management
12. You are a team leader
13. You understand business use cases and customer needs
14. Strong spoken and written English language skills.
15. Strong influencing and motivational skills
16. Strong documentation writing skills
17. Proven experience of being a Supplier IVVQM to UK Government Customers
18. Strong experience with automated testing tools (JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium)
19. Strong knowledge on Web technologies, applications servers, webservices, and testing of API/SDK (SOAP/REST) as appropriate
20. knowledge on data communication/networking protocols/technologies
21. Monitor KPIs, coordinate test progress and analyze results
22. Work under pressure, you are autonomous, adaptable and creative
23. ISTQB® Certified Test Manager – Advance Level is a ‘plus’
Other:
24. Anticipated to be based at/or within reasonable commute of Reading
25. Test Environment will be based in Reading
26. Office attendance anticipated during the contract
27. Likely to involve quite frequent travel to multiple customer locations predominantly in UK
28. Some travel to non-UK destinations- mostly Spain and France.
29. Must have or be able to get UK Security Check Clearance
