About the RoleAs Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager, you will lead and develop the clinical pharmacy team, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medicines management across all clinical areas. Working closely with consultants, nursing teams, and senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient outcomes and maintaining the highest professional standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop the clinical pharmacy service within the hospitalProvide expert clinical advice and support to multidisciplinary teamsEnsure compliance with regulatory, professional, and governance standardsDrive service improvement initiatives and clinical audit programmesOversee medicines optimisation, antimicrobial stewardship, and formulary managementSupport training, education, and professional development of pharmacy staffContribute to strategic planning and operational performance
About YouRegistered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical CouncilSignificant post-registration clinical experience within hospital pharmacyStrong knowledge of medicines governance, risk management, and clinical auditExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProven leadership and team management experience (desirable)
