Job Description
The key responsibilities of a Management Accounts Assistant will include, but may not be limited to;
3. Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
4. Supporting the budgeting process.
5. Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
6. Assisting with internal and external audits.
7. Preparing accruals and prepayments.
8. Providing financial information and reports for management.
9. Participating in various ad hoc finance projects.
10. Supporting the finance team with daily tasks.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Public Sector and Government background desirable.
12. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
13. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
14. Ability to commute to Bury.
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
17. A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
18. Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
