Job Description P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working with our well-established client based in East Ayrshire to recruit an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a small friendly team. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously on their own initiative to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The main duties are:
Processing weekly & monthly payrolls from start to finish
Process all new starters and leavers
Maintaining and ensuring all authorised holidays and paid correctly
Dealing with payroll queries
Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SPP, Pension Schemes
RTI submission
Auto-enrolment
Work closely with the Payroll Supervisor
The main requirements:
Previous payroll experience is essential
Highly proficient IT skills including Excel
First class communication skills
Strong team player
Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
