About the Role
Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming nursery in the Wirral who are looking to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development within a nurturing early years environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years through play-based activities
2. Assist with planning and delivering engaging early years activities
3. Observe and record children’s progress and development
4. Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, and rest times
5. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment
6. Work closely with colleagues and parents to support each child’s individual needs
Requirements
7. Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
8. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable
9. A caring, patient, and positive attitude
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills
11. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
