Job Description
Were hiring for a pivotal role in the Procurement team, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of procurement across the region.
As the Technology Buying Group Lead, youll oversee all technology-related spend (e.g. hardware) and support other categories such as marketing, HR, professional services, facilities, and travel. Youll define and deliver the regional procurement strategy, lead complex negotiations, manage sourcing activities (RFXs, auctions, contracts), and drive value through supplier relationships and commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement strategy for technology spend across EMAP
Manage sourcing processes using Ariba and ensure robust contracts
Drive cost savings and supplier performance improvements
Build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
Promote Procurement across the business via webinars and training
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
Support cross-functional teams with procurement planning and data insights
Standardise best practices across countries and business lines
This is a high-impact role where youll influence procurement direction, lead a regional team, and champion innovation and efficiency across the business.
Qualifications
You must have a strong background in technology procurement, be a confident and experienced negotiator used to handling difficult supplier negotiations with proven track record of having engaged with and influenced internal stakeholders at all levels. Evidence of having made great cost saving and challenged the status quo.
MCIP's or equivalent
Proven background of IT Procurement
Proven negotiation skill
