The Role
As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for operating CNC turning machines to manufacture components to tight tolerances, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating CNC turning machines to produce precision-engineered components
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
* Inspecting finished components to ensure quality and tolerance standards are met
* Monitoring machines during production runs to ensure consistent output
* Identifying and resolving basic machining or quality issues
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to support production targets
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
* Positive attitude towards health & safety
