Hi, I’m Harvey!
I was born in and I’m looking for a Support Worker to join my team in Melksham, Wiltshire!
I’m a sociable and energetic boy who loves adventures and having fun. Some of my favourite things are going to Costa or Greggs for a cake and hot chocolate, swimming, horse riding, gaming, and playing outside. I also love spending time with my big family and friends—especially when there’s music and dancing involved.
I live with my mum, dad, and older brother, and they are really important to me. I also have a big circle of family and friends nearby who I love seeing often.
I have some physical and learning difficulties, and I sometimes experience epilepsy absences when I’m tired. That means I need a bit of extra help to do the things I love and to stay safe and happy.
What I’m Looking For
I would like a Support Worker who can help me after school, at weekends and in the school holidays. You’ll support me with all aspects of my personal care, daily routines, and making sure I can enjoy all my favourite activities—both at home and out in the community. You’ll also help me learn new things and become more independent, which is very important to me.
You’ll need to be confident using your own initiative, but don’t worry—you’ll have loads of support from my parents and my Case Manager. My therapists will also help you learn how to support me best, and you’ll get training to follow my therapy programmes.
