About the Role
Salary: MPR - UPR
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative teacher of English for Ysgol y Grango, an 11‑16 mixed comprehensive school. The position is permanent, full time (1.0 f/te) and required from September 2026.
The successful candidate will: demonstrate the skills, vision and enthusiasm to inspire pupils to achieve their very best; build upon established good practice; and help advance the faculty into the next stage of the school's exciting development. We welcome applications from teachers seeking their first post as well as from more experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Teach English across KS3 and KS4, up to GCSE level in English Language and English Literature.
* Develop and deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that promote student achievement.
* Support pupils’ progress, assessment and attainment across the curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and maintain professional standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Qualified to teach English at KS4/GCSE level.
* Enhanced DBS and EWC registration required.
* Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and high‑standard teaching practices.
