The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
1. Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service
2. Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
3. Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
4. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
5. Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment
6. Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
7. Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate
Skills and experiences:
8. Previous experience delivering tenancy services
9. Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
10. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
11. Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
12. NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
13. Ability to extract and interrogate data
14. Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
15. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
