What you will do in the role of Spare Parts and Logistics Assistant?
1. Supporting colleagues across Europe to source and supply spare parts for third party elevator and escalator maintenance
2. Respond to incoming enquiries regarding spare parts
3. Liaison with engineers to identify and source spare parts for elevator and escalator systems as required
4. Obtain quotations from key suppliers
5. Prepare quotations
6. Process Sales Orders for spare parts and diagnostic tools
7. Raise invoices and journals
8. Respond to invoice queries, credit requests etc.
9. Raise/post purchase orders
10. Organise DHL/TNT collections for import to UK
11. Prepare shipping documents, inc. Airway Bills, packing lists and completion of invoice templates for customs purposes
12. Liaison with shipping agents
13. Issue customs clearance instructions
14. Produce monthly stock valuation and shipping reports
15. Notify customers of tracking numbers for shipments daily
16. Participate in annual stock check
17. Assist with packing/unpacking deliveries
18. Replenish office supplies
What we need you to have in the role of Spare Parts & Logistics Assistant?
19. Previous experience in an admin role relating to logistics or shipping or Purchase Orders Or Invoicing
20. Additional European languages an advantage, especially French or German
21. Attention to detail
22. Customer service
23. Ability to work efficiently and at speed in fast-paced environment
24. Commercially-minded
25. Problem solving and innovation
26. Planning and organising, esp. strategies for multitasking
27. Methodical, strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
