What you’ll be doing:
Teaching engaging and creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
Inspiring a love for reading, writing and critical thinking
Creating a positive, well-managed classroom where all students can thrive
Planning, marking and assessing in line with the national curriculum
Supporting students of all abilities, including those with additional needs
Contributing to the wider English department and school community
What the school is looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
A genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
