Job Description: Drivers Mate Southampton £12.45 ph Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We are recruiting Drivers Mates in Southampton to assist with the delivery of household furniture direct to customers homes. The role: Working alongside a driver to deliver furniture safely into customers houses Heavy lifting is involved, so youll need to be physically fit Providing excellent customer service with a friendly, can-do attitude Start times are usually 6 am, with some shifts starting at 10 am Shifts are around 11 hours long Work is available Monday to Saturday (Saturday is part of the regular working week) Flexibility to choose 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 shifts per week ideal for a work-life balance What you need: Your own transport to get to and from the distribution centre for early starts (no public transport available at 6 am) Reliability and a strong work ethic A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer care.
