About the role
Tesco:
Contract: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Varies from day to day but are planned in advance

You will be responsible for
1. Recruiting and training the best people for your team, developing their operational and leadership skills.
2. Coaching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about store products, building the brand and ensuring excellent customer service.
3. Leading your team in driving trade activity to grow sales and maximize profit.
4. Building your managers' knowledge to deliver the Store Change Plan and resource planned activities, ensuring optimal staffing and resolving root causes of issues.
5. Ensuring the safety of colleagues by coaching the team to use all security tools and maintaining a legally compliant store environment.
You will need
* Excellent communication skills, sharing knowledge and working collaboratively.
* A welcoming attitude towards customers, with strong relationship-building skills.
* Energy and resilience to work in challenging environments, making quick decisions in the best interest of customers and colleagues.
* Drive to exceed expectations, acting ethically and inspiring confidence.
* An awareness of competitors' activities and a proactive approach to improving the store experience.
