Role Purpose
This role exists to drive organisational performance, compliance, and scalable growth by embedding a culture of continuous learning, leadership development, and operational excellence. The Head of Talent, Learning and Organisational Excellence will build a Centre of Excellence to enhance workforce capability, quality standards, and succession planning across internal teams and offshore operations. This position is central to aligning people strategies with business goals while embedding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and company values into every aspect of organisational development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of offshore and internal teams.
* Design and deliver company-wide Learning & Development strategies aligned with business goals.
* Build and implement a structured mentoring programme for senior leaders, incorporating external mentors where necessary.
* Establish and manage a Centre of Excellence to promote innovation, quality standards, and best practices.
* Lead internal succession planning and talent continuity strategies to ensure future-ready leadership.
* Oversee compliance, audits, and quality frameworks (e.g., ISO standards) to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory readiness.
* Provide HR, talent, and compliance input into high-value bids and tender submissions.
* Embed ESG and organisational values across all people policies, processes, and cultural initiatives.
* Advise and support executive leadership on strategic talent, culture, and change initiatives.
* Champion a proactive, innovative, and change-resilient culture across all teams.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in talent development, learning strategy, and organisational excellence.
* Experience managing global/offshore teams, particularly in regulated or service-based industries.
* Strong understanding of compliance, quality management, and audit processes (ISO preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to lead succession planning and mentoring at executive level.
* Experience contributing to business development through HR/compliance input in bids and tenders.
* Practical understanding of ESG frameworks and how to embed them in organisational practices.
* Degree in HR, Organisational Development, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD, ISO Lead Auditor, L&D credentials) are desirable.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, coaching, and cross-cultural leadership skills.
Additional Information
* Occasional international travel may be required.
* This role will work closely with internal department heads and external partners.
* Expected to maintain professional certifications and support external accreditations.
* Plays a strategic role in shaping the organisation’s culture, resilience, and growth trajectory.
