An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Design Technology (DT) Technician in an Apple Distinguished School. We are seeking to appoint a term time Technician for our Science & Technology Area of Learning. We are hoping to appoint a technician who specialises in Design Technology and can work with teachers to support pupils with DT techniques and operating machinery as well as classroom/practical preparation and set-up. Specific experience in the following areas would be beneficial: Woodwork Metalwork Product design. There are six specialist design technology staff, some of whom have other responsibilities within the school. We deliver many courses in DT including; Design Technology, Product Design, Textiles, Construction and Engineering.

You will possess excellent organisational and inter-personnel skills. You will be confident to work independently following set methods and procedures. You will have access to iPads for communication with the Senior technician and Science staff.
