IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Land Development) in our Sioux Falls, SD office. As a Civil Engineer, you will provide a high level of leadership, mentoring, and training for less experienced staff. This could be technical, project management, marketing, or business development in nature.
Some key duties and responsibilities include:
* Makes major design recommendations and decisions with little input from senior staff; plans design work by discipline for all project sizes and assigns duties to staff; reviews correspondence prepared by junior staff; actively participates in quality control of projects.
* Contributes to leadership in some aspect of our Technical Operations Team for both large and small projects; acts as an advisor and analyzes technical problems/writes reports; plays a significant role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects; provides technical assistance on field issues, visiting project sites as needed.
* OR
* Serves as Project Manager on large or multiple smaller projects; identifies prospective clients, assists in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals; brings work into the firm with existing or new clients; participates in client presentations.
Key skills and abilities needed:
* Ability to perform all duties of Civil Project Engineer II, demonstrate leadership in either technical or project management paths, mastery of technical aspects, mentoring skills, and effective communication.
Education and experience requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
* Professional Engineer license.
* This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
