Overview
We’re looking for an ambitious and confident Sales Consultant to join the team at our Hyundai/Geely/Vanstore branch in Carlisle. You’ll be known as a Product Consultant at Arnold Clark, but your role will be heavily sales focused. This isn’t a typical showroom role—you’ll showcase customer service skills and enjoy every working day.

What’s the job?
As an Arnold Clark Product Consultant, you’ll be with our customers every step of the way—from the moment they walk through the door to offering a great aftersales experience. You’ll help customers find the right car based on their needs and build strong, positive relationships throughout the process. This role includes the five-day working week commission structure, uniforms, and staff benefits.
We’re seeking someone who loves helping people, has energy and enthusiasm, and can rise to challenges. You don’t need to be a car fanatic, but you should enjoy delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Help customers find the right car based on their needs
* Deliver outstanding, 5-star service for every customer
* Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through every step of the sales process
* Sell the right sales package for the customer (finance to servicing) with integrity
* Coordinate the order and delivery of vehicles to keep everything running smoothly
* Meet monthly sales expectations and customer experience standards
* Work as part of a dynamic team to meet deadlines and keep promises
* Stay in touch with customers to offer a great aftersales experience
Requirements / Qualities
* Fantastic communication, organisation and people skills

* Ability to stay organised and remember details to deliver on promises
* A desire for a lasting and fulfilling career
* A full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year
