Part Qualified Accountant / Finance Analyst

The role we are proposing is working within a commercially biassed Analysis role. You’ll be involved with some exciting, challenging and high profile projects.
1. FTC contract for 12 months

3. Hybrid working from home / one day office based at Lodge Farm Industrial Estate, Northampton
How?
You will be providing management accounting and analytical support to our general merchanting teams. This environment is a lot like the retail world but much more fun!
The teams you will support are to help drive the best finance and commercial decisions to deliver operational results. This will include building investment appraisal business cases for capital spend.
You will create and develop KPI reports to provide insightful financial information alongside data analysis and interpretation which will drive business performance. You will support forecasting, monitoring and reporting the financial performance of the business to the leadership team, preparing and reporting all forecasts and budgets and completion of the monthly management accounts.
Along with the above you will also:-
4. Preparation of daily, weekly & fortnightly performance reporting.
5. Support month end reporting processes
6. Develop reports using various tools including datastudio and excel
7. Liaise with Finance and all operational roles up to Regional Directors to collate inputs and challenge assumptions.
8. Ad Hoc analysis and investigation work as required
9. Eager to learn how to extract and use data from the Google Suite of Data Reporting
10. Use of DataStudios, Looker and Big Query
Is this you?
In order to succeed in this position, you’ll need to be confident in building relationships across the business. We’re looking for someone to really take the initiative, as well as being ambitious and keen to progress. It is important that you have great attention to detail, can work as a part of a team and also on your own.
Along with the above, you will need to be part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA) or with a relevant degree and intention to study.
